Membership benefits for physical therapy practice owners
Experienced Advocates
OPTIP began in the late 1980's and has had over 160 local members since inception. It's governed by an elected five-member board with deep roots in Oregon Healthcare and Physical Therapy.
Legal Resources
OPTIP exists to give local PT clinic owners a say in policy decisions. Your member dues go towards ensuring that we have an advocate and representative at state meetings. Our legal team is also available to members in the OPTIP Community for questions related to compliance.
Community Support
Our online community of 30+ local practice owners keeps PT's connected. It's a cohort of local business owners answering questions about billing, hiring, regulations, reimbursements, and more. We're also building a robust library of resources, templates, and tools for practice management.
Our Mission
OPTIP's mission is to provide its private practice clinic members with information, resources and collective action to enhance and protect their business and reimbursement interests and to assist them with regulatory compliance. Through OPTIP, members stay informed on the current state and federal rules governing therapy practice and reimbursement. OPTIP retains the services of an attorney/executive director who has 25 years of experience in physical therapy law and practice, and who updates members on issues and changes in the law, answers questions from individual clinic members, and represents OPTIP's interests in legislative and rule-making proceedings.
